1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember preferences, keep sessions secure, and — with your consent — understand how visitors use pages. Similar technologies include local storage (used by our cookie consent banner) and server-side session identifiers.

2. How we use cookies

We group cookies into two categories: essential cookies (required for the site to function) and analytics cookies (optional, used only if you accept them via our cookie banner). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Consent for non-essential cookies is never pre-selected — you must actively click "Accept" on the banner.

2.1 Essential cookies

These cookies are necessary for basic site operation and cannot be switched off through our banner without breaking functionality.

• dailydrive_cookie_consent — Stores your cookie preference (accepted or declined). Duration: 12 months. Set via localStorage with cookie fallback.
• PHP session cookie — Used only when you submit the contact form via send.php to process your request. Duration: session.

2.2 Analytics cookies (consent required)

If you click "Accept" on our cookie banner, we may enable privacy-oriented analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns — which pages are read, approximate referral sources, and device types. We configure analytics to avoid collecting personally identifiable information where possible and to honour IP truncation. If you click "Decline", analytics cookies are not set.

3. Third-party cookies

We load Google Fonts from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. Google may set cookies or collect usage data under its own policies. We use preconnect hints to minimise latency. If you prefer to avoid Google Fonts, you may use browser extensions that block third-party font requests; the site remains readable with system fallback fonts defined in our CSS.

Our payment processor may set cookies during membership checkout on their hosted pages; those cookies are governed by the processor's policy, not this one.

4. Managing your preferences

When you first visit dailydrive.life, a cookie banner appears at the bottom of the screen. You may:

• Accept — enables analytics cookies in addition to essential cookies
• Decline — only essential cookies are used

To change your choice later, clear the dailydrive_cookie_consent entry from your browser's local storage (or clear site data for dailydrive.life) and reload the page — the banner will reappear.

Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies globally through settings. Blocking all cookies may prevent the contact form from functioning correctly.

Essential consent storage lasts 12 months before the banner reappears. Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Analytics cookies, if accepted, typically persist for up to 13 months but are configured for minimal retention consistent with our analytics provider's privacy settings.
